Alright #FranchiseNation. For those of you who are members of the Chicago Bears Madden 17 Community CFM, here is a update on how things stand after the first 4 weeks. If you prefer text and reading, scroll past the video below! The Bears are sitting at a cool 3-1 on the season, good enough for 2nd in the NFC North behind the 3-0 Packers. We have some tough games ahead as the next 4 weeks bring the Colts, Jaguars, Packers and Vikings. QB - Broken Millennium Millennium has had an amazing start to the season. He currently sits 6th in the league in Passing Yards, Tied for 2nd in TD's, 2nd in Completion % and 1st in QB Rating. HB - That SprtsGmr TSG has been a dual-threat for the Bears, something that wasn't really expected coming into the season. While he still doesn't have a Rushing TD, he leads the league with 96 yards after contact, showing off those mad truck skills. TE - Knight Attack Knight Attack has been exactly as productive as most people thought he would be coming in to the season. Finding plenty of space over the middle to rack up a team leading 20 receptions so far. Knight Attack has been asking for the football more, but with so many mouths to feed on offense, will he get it? WR - Khalil Jackson Jackson has been showing signs of brilliance at WR despite drawing some very difficult assignments in the first quarter of the season. Jackson has shown off some big play ability with Touchdowns of 80 and 62 yards this season, he also leads the league in Yards Per Reception WR Matthew "AC" Sommers Sommers has taken advantage of the attention paid to Jackson and rocked it to a great start to the season. AC is currently 4th in the league in Yards After Catch. MLB Wolverine Justice Justice has been all over the field so far this season. He has forced 3 fumbles already this season and seems to be in the neighborhood on every single play. OLB Mister CPUGeek Mister CPUgeek has also been very active on the field. Teams have been unable to find a way to stop the 3-headed monster at LB for the Bears. OLB Mayne Event Mayne Event has taken the brunt of the focus from opposing O-lines, allowing Justice and CPUGeek to wreak havoc. Event has still managed to rack up a sack, INT, 2 deflections, 2 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. CB Snaggle J SnaggleJ has been quietly doing his job at corner. Teams seem quite content to throw the ball to the opposite side of the field. Considering this is Snaggle's contract year, it will be interesting to see how he performs as we get later into the season. FS Shakes McClane McClane has been quiet so far in 2016. Big things were expected of him but most of the secondary accolades have been pushed towards his safety-mate Ye OldTonk. It will be interesting to see if the youngster ups his game SS Ye OldTonk OldTonk is already getting a reputation around the league for absolutely blasting opponents with big hits. He was been throwing his body around the field with reckless abandon. Teams have started to gameplan to keep the ball away from his part of the field.
Well there you have it folks, this is where things are through 4 weeks. Pretty good start to the season for the Bears, time will tell if things continue this way. Make sure to tune into my Twitch channel Monday's at 7:30pm EST as I live stream this franchise!
