Want to dictate which retro games you see on my Extra Life 4 Kids stream on November 11th?
I've got you covered! It's this simple: 1 - DONATE HERE! ($15 gets you 30 minutes, $25 gets you an hour) 2 - In your donation message, let me know which NES or SNES game you want me to play during your time frame. Said game must work on the NES or SNES Classic (sorry, no Mario Paint) BOOM! That's it! You can help the kids, and see the games you want to see at the same time! That sounds like a win/win situation to this guy!

What's up Snagoholics? Just wanted to take a quick second and post a quick update on stream schedule stuff...
You might have noticed that I only streamed Monday and Saturday this past week, and unfortunately, this is something you might have to get used to. I have recently started a new job, I umpire baseball in the summer and my kids will be home for summer vacation. All of these things take time away from being on-stream. Going forward, the stream schedule will be more fluid from week-to-week. I am still aiming to have at least 3 streams per week, but some weeks it might be SUN-MON-THU and other weeks it might be SUN-TUE-SAT. That's just something I can't predict right now. I appreciate all the support you've given me over the past few months and will continue to work hard to bring you as much awesome stream content as I can, as often as I am able. Make sure to keep it locked to my twitter, @SnaggleJ, for any updates in regards to when I will be live. Again, thank you for all the support, it means a lot! Me and Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 17 just haven't click, for a variety of reasons. In the first 7+ weeks since the game's release, I have spent my usual amount of time grinding missions and cards in an effort to build a team I can be proud of, but things have gotten in the way. Those things have now pushed me almost entirely out of the mode and, at the point, I'm not sure if there is any going back. Here are a few reasons why I'm giving up on Diamond Dynasty. *in no particular order
Below you will find this week's assortment of YouTube videos in case you happened to miss some of them. You can always keep up with my YT happenings by subscribing over at YouTube.com/SnaggleJ To say the launch of MLB The Show 17 has been problematic would be an understatement.
Here we sit, 17 days out from release (as I write this) and coming off possibly the worse day for the servers since release and no sign of permanent improvements. Diamond Dynasty has been basically unplayable at the worst of times and a gamble at the best of times. Sony San Diego has been under fire from all corners of the internet and undercover trying to fix these issues as quickly as possible. I and most people know that these issues will eventually be ironed out, but as we drag on close to three weeks of dealing with them, more people becoming ever more impatient. The way the community has been handling this has also given me pause. For the most part, people are generally civil: directing their ire towards the official MLBTheShow twitter account, Ramone or _Tips, but a small few have started attacking other Twitter users, those who have taken a positive tone during this crisis. I have seen people labelled as “apologists” or “in SDS’ pocket” and have seen some pretty hateful things hurled at other people, myself included. So, here is my manifesto. You may agree with it, you may disagree with it, but I feel it necessary to clear some things out of my head. 1. You have every right to be mad at SDS This is a no-brainer. SDS has made a crucial error in either the design or execution of the online portions of its game. As a paying customer, you have the right to be angry, upset, mad, sad or whatever you feel about it. You also have the right to express that on whatever medium you choose. I suggest you are civil about it, but some would certainly disagree with me there given their actions in recent days. I am unhappy about it, but choose to express my level of anger/disappointment in different methods than you might. 2. You don’t need to take it out on other members of the community People are dealing with this in different ways. Some have decided to remain calm and positive, focusing on the good things that MLB The Show 17 does (more on that in #3) and they are being attacked for that. Just because someone doesn’t raise a pitchfork with you and storm the castle doesn’t make them wrong or the enemy. Attacking them just makes you look like an asshole. The name calling, and pettiness I have seen on Twitter and other social media outlets is just downright childish. It doesn’t do any good to take that route. Ultimately, we all want the same thing, a working game where we can enjoy all of the various functionalities it provides. Just because I harbour my anger better than you doesn’t mean I am against you. 3. It is NOT a bad game I have seen the following phrases on Twitter: “This is such a bad game.” “SDS, please fix this terrible game” “Why, this game is so bad, like, can’t they just make it work” I want to correct those people and say, this is most definitely NOT a bad game. It is a broken mode within, what is otherwise a fantastic game. Franchise and RTTS work pretty much as intended and are quite fun modes to play, while the gameplay on the field is the best ever seen in a baseball game with the improvements to the ball physics, graphics and animations. It is NOT a bad game. I understand that some people only play The Show for Diamond Dynasty and I have nothing against that, but saying it’s a ‘bad game’ is false and mis-leading. It’s a fantastic game with a broken online component that will, eventually, be fixed. 4. The SDS Team want this game to work SDS wants to fix this game. They are working tirelessly behind the scenes to get this game to the level they expect and we expect it to be. If you think otherwise, you are mistaken. Ramone and Tips, arguably the two social faces of the game, have had some pretty nasty things directed to their timelines, inboxes and DM’s over the past 2+ weeks, but calling into question their dedication towards making a top notch baseball game is just insulting. I don’t personally agree with their decision to go dark online over the past week or so, but I’m sure that was a decision that came from higher up the chain. Ultimately, they want a fully-functional MLB The Show 17 server system. They want us to enjoy the game. We can voice our displeasure all we want but questioning the intentions and desire of the dev team is just downright unnecessary. 5. As much as you don’t like it, all you can do is be patient Patience is the key. We know eventually things are going to get better. We know there will be compensation, and while you might not like it, all we can do it be patient. You can complain and raise hell on social media, that’s your right, but ultimately, until the game is fixed, there is very little we can do about it. I honestly can’t explain why people have started attacking each other. Is it out of boredom or frustration? Is it because people just can’t help themselves and are using this server issue as a smokescreen to attacks others? Are things just getting escalated until someone says something they don’t mean? I can’t answer that. I do hope that people just take a step back before they say something to someone that they can’t take back and realize that it’s a video game. Like I said, you have the right to be mad, be mad at SDS all you want, but there is no reason people can’t maintain some level of respect for one another. The MLB The Show community is the best sports gaming community, but to see the way a few select members have handled themselves recently certainly gives it a black eye. While the official Sony San Diego live stream isn't until Thursday, we have already had a wealth of new information for Franchise Mode fans in a blog, vlog and GameStop video released this week. I'm going to take a minute and break down what we know about 3 new features that have been confirmed to be in Franchise Mode.
